In December 1954 I seen a recruiter for the Navy, but I was turned down because I had flat feet.
I then went back to school to graduate in June, 1955 from WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL, in BRAINERD, MN.
In May of 1955 I joined the National Guard so I wouldn’t have to face the draft.
